Mission Statement

Sheltered Lives is a project that will attempt to raise awareness and funds for feline shelters. By capturing images of cats who have spent or are spending their lives in a shelter we hope to encourage people to work locally to reduce the number of cats being born - and therefore reduce the potential number of cats who could end up in shelters - by spaying and neutering their companion animals. Also we hope to encourage the adoption of young-adult and adult cats from shelters. This group is often the most affected by the unfortunate euthanasia that many shelters are forced to enact due to a variety of forces. Please visit often and look for updates on publications that are in development (big fat photo book of shelter cats) and check some of the links to see how you can become involved or to help.

Sheltered Lives Project

The Sheltered Lives project has been created to provide support for various feline shelters who have an over abundance of animals. Proceed from the project will be directed to maximize efforts in the U.S. and in Poland to reduce the number of animals who spend all or parts of their lives in shelters.
