Mission Statement

Sheltered Lives is a project that will attempt to raise awareness and funds for feline shelters. By capturing images of cats who have spent or are spending their lives in a shelter we hope to encourage people to work locally to reduce the number of cats being born - and therefore reduce the potential number of cats who could end up in shelters - by spaying and neutering their companion animals. Also we hope to encourage the adoption of young-adult and adult cats from shelters. This group is often the most affected by the unfortunate euthanasia that many shelters are forced to enact due to a variety of forces.
